About us
Buda Juniors is an English-language, multi-national football club in Budapest, Hungary for children aged 4 to 19 years old. Run by Janos Banfi, a former Hungarian national team captain with 14 years experience of playing professional football and qualified with the UEFA coaching license, we play at Csilleberc in the Buda hills of the 12th district.

The Buda Juniors 2004 team have started the 2016/17 Winter Cup campaign with a promosing performance. The guys bounced back after a heavy defeat in the first game and went all the way to the final thanks to a 2:0 win in the second group game and a successful penalty thriller against a good Pomáz team in the semi-final. It wasn’t necessarily the quality of football but the attitude, spirit and hard work that earned the guys this second place. Well done boys!

After the 2nd place in the first match day our 2004 team finished 4th after a dramatic 2:3 defeat on penalties. It was a solid team effort from the guys all the way with Patryk being the main character in defense and Stan the man in goals. Vanya and Robi were the focal points in attack while the two "youngsters" Luis and Simon worked up and down the field tirelessly. Half way into the Winter Cup season it is clear that this team has spirit and great attitude which is one of the great improvements compared to last year!

Overall a great performance! A good way to end the day with a win on penalties. Great performances all around but kudos to Vince and Patryk. Final result: 3rd overall.
1st match
Dominating performance by our 2004s. From start to finish we completely outplayed the opponent. Positioning was excellent making the victory seem effortless.
Vince (3), Kryzstof (2), Luis were our goalscorers.
2nd match
Hard fought match! The only thing missing, besides the goals, was a bit more communication. Talking would've made things easier at both ends, but in the end we were unlucky not to score.
3rd match
Another battle! We were under pressure for a good 8 minutes. We defended well but conceded 2 goals. We came back with a goal and we were close to equalise, but our efforts came to no avail. Great match to watch.
4th match
Another hard match where we saw fatigue kick in a bit. The match ended in a draw which lead us to penalties... at sudden death a Bende goal and Stan save sealed the win!
